Privacy Policy

This page describes how Perceptc currently handles information when you use it. It is written in plain language and reflects how the product works today.

Thoughts you submit

When you request a reframe, the text of your thought, along with recent context from your journal, is sent to the Perceptc backend. The backend sends that content to Anthropic, an AI model provider, to generate the breakdown, perspectives, and next step. Please avoid including information you would not want processed by these services, such as full names of other people, account numbers, or other sensitive identifiers.

Your local journal

Completed results are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. The journal holds a maximum of 30 entries. It is not synced across devices. You can remove it by clearing your history in Perceptc or by clearing your browser data for this site.

Voice input

If you use voice input, speech recognition is performed by your browser and may be handled by your browser or device provider under their own terms. Perceptc receives the resulting text, which is then treated like any typed thought.

Analytics

Perceptc uses analytics to understand how the product is used. This includes internal analytics, PostHog, and analytics provided by the publishing platform. These may record usage metadata such as page views, feature events, device and browser details, and pseudonymous identifiers. Analytics events are intended to describe usage, not to store the content of your thoughts.

Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Payment card details are entered with and handled by Stripe. Perceptc receives information needed to manage your subscription status.

Sharing

Results are shared only when you choose to use a sharing action. Perceptc does not publish your thoughts or results on its own.

Changes

This policy may be updated as the product changes. The current version will always be available at this page.
